Your tier depends on the kind of work you record. Skilled work like CAD, Excel, and programming earns higher tiers. Casual browsing and entertainment may earn lower tiers.

user_actions records your screen, computer inputs, and metadata. Your recordings and personally identifiable information are not sold to advertisers.
No. user_actions does not record your microphone or webcam.
Start and stop recording whenever you'd like. After you stop, there's a delay before your recording uploads.
To delete a recording before it uploads, hover over the recording you wish to delete and a red trash can will appear
Yes. You can stop recording whenever you like. You’re paid for active recording time, and there’s no minimum number of hours you need to record each day.
Active time is time spent using your computer with inputs such as typing and clicking. user_actions automatically pauses after a period of inactivity. Most everyday computer use counts as active time. You can track your active time and see when recording is paused in the app.
Do not use bots, auto-clickers, mouse jigglers, or similar tools to fake activity or keep recording while you’re away. Doing so will result in a ban from user_actions.
No. Use your computer like you normally do. Play games, do homework, browse or shop online, or do anything else you already enjoy. There are no assigned tasks to complete.
user_actions is designed to run as a small background process. Most computers experience no noticeable slowdown during normal use.

You don’t need an existing Dots account or to sign up in advance. When your first payout is processed on the 1st or 15th, you’ll receive an email from Dots with a link to set up your payout account and enter your payment details. Expect 1–3 days for processing.
